Update!

I have just written a post on the blog. It's my thoughts on Timesheet NG and the direction I think it should go. It's a bit long, but hopefully some of it make sense. Please comment on it and let me know your thoughts

Many thanks Rob

Welcome to Timesheet Next Gen

Hi and welcome to the development site for Timesheet Next Gen.

Timesheet “Next Gen” is a free Open Source online time tracking application. Focusing on ease of use, Timesheet NG allows multiple employers and contractors to track and log their time spent on multiple projects.

Update I am in the process of updating this website. In other news, 1.3.1 is available for download from the SVN Thanks

Why "Next Gen"?

Timesheet NG is a continuation of the Timesheet.php project by Peter D. Kovacs and later Dominic J. Gamble. Timesheet.php has a large following of users, but sadly isn't actively developed any more. Timesheet Next Gen is here to change that.

Our Goals

This project has two main aims.

  • Firstly we aim to continue to support the current release of Timesheet.php, fixing bugs and applying patches.
  • Secondly we aim to bring Timesheet.php right up-to-date in Timesheet Next Gen, focusing on ease of use and the user experience, whilst keeping it compatible (as much as possible) with the last release of Timesheet.php.

Download

You can download current releases from our SourceForge download page.

Online Demo

You can play around with the current release of Timesheet NG on the online demo.
